Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign up with email and password or with Google, we store your email address and, where provided by Google, your name and profile picture. We never see or store your Google password.

Your content. Typography documents, saved analyses, projects, screenshots you upload for analysis, and type systems you save are stored in our database so they are available to you across sessions and devices.

Usage information. We record the number of analyses you run each month so plan allowances can be enforced, plus technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status, plan, and Stripe customer identifiers; we never see or store your full card number — that is handled entirely by Stripe.

We use the information above to:

• Provide the service — run analyses, save your projects, and sync your work across sessions.
• Manage your subscription, apply plan allowances, and process payments through Stripe.
• Send essential service messages (for example, billing and security notices).
• Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded designs to train AI models.

We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: cloud database and authentication hosting, Stripe for payments, and an AI provider that receives the content of analyses you request (for example the text of a screenshot analysis) solely to produce the explanation you asked for.

Your data is kept while your account is active. We apply row-level access controls so that only you can read your projects, analyses and subscription details. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.

You can view and update your account details on the Account page. You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@typal.app. If you ask us to delete your account, we will also arrange for any active TYPAL subscription associated with that account to be cancelled.

If we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
